To Everyone - COURAGE IN A LETTER

To everyone! This is a letter from a dear client that I received today – and my reply—- Read and get the benefits from this share… I have made her anonymous – but she is each of us for sure. Jane

Dear Jane,

The young girl across the street from me came by selling GS Cookies….so I bought to help her out. Under stress yesterday, I ate a whole box in an hour! That’s me….nothing new. I’m taking today to get right back on the wagon. The rest of the boxes are down the hall in the company kitchen. At least they were. They probably lasted about 5 minutes. At least they are nowhere near me. I am not trustworthy with sweets….and will never be no matter how long I’ve been off of them. Since I have a firm history with the plan (6 or so weeks), I know it works for me beautifully so I’m confident in getting right back on it today. I love the results too much to do anything else. Praise God this program works so quickly. If I had to wait very long for results, I couldn’t do it. Least I ever think I’m in control….I’m reminded that I am not and this is a good thing, because it gives me a tender understanding toward others and keeps me grounded.

Anonymous.

My reply: You are My hero! Seriously. Falling off the wagon is never surprising… we all do it… and getting right back on with conviction takes courage… personal courage and I applaud you! Many people would just become a victim and throw in the towel. The victim mentality is easy to maintain when you believe God will take care of everything. Being a victim is easy to do when God is there to help us so to speak. But you have the perfect perspective on God’s role and that is just plain gratitude. Being grateful to God’s is the only role God’s can take in this….the rest is up to us individually through the free will that God has given us… so no cop out! And no excuses… just do what you are doing!! I see you owning the responsibility. .. you are a great example. .. thanks for sharing.
